Diabetes Drug Avandia® Linked to Increased Risk of Heart Attacks

Med Headlines - Wake Forest University School of Medicine researchers have analyzed four studies involving over 14,000 individuals with long-term use of the diabetes drug Avandia® (rosiglitazone). It was found that the drug increased the risk of heart attack by 42% and doubled the risk of heart failure.
